So this isn’t Mel writing. This is Andy, Mel’s roommate. 

This is actually pretty serious.

Mel was in a car accident late last night. He was t-boned (hit in the drivers door) by a drunk driver at about 50mph. Mel wasn’t at all at fault, the creep just plowed into him. The paramedics said he was very lucky. With that speed and where he was hit, he shouldn’t be here. Basically he’s a miracle on legs! Unfortunately that’s not to say he got away unscathed, he did get a nasty concussion, a few broken bones and some deep bruising. But he will pull through this. His crazy amazing faith in God has already brought him through so much in his life. He will be alright, but he’s hurting something fierce and it’s going to be a long road.

Please keep Mel in your thoughts and prayers. I know how much he loves all you guys, so it would mean the world if you could lift him up! He needs to lay low for a while and let his body mend itself, so he won’t be online for a while, but I’ll try and update you guys when I can and answer any questions you have as best I can.

I’m not a tumblr expert - I think I accidentally hearted or bookmarked a few things on accident, sorry about that - But if you also want to shoot any messages or notes of encouragement to Mel, I will gladly pass them along to our friendly neighborhood time lord :)
